BrioMagazine turns one year old. Exactly twelve months ago, in August 2025, this project was born with the idea of telling the stories of music that spotlights only fall on by chance — if they ever do at all. In this issue, 52 pages of interviews, discoveries, and stories that someone might call “niche” — but that for us are simply real music.
It’s no small milestone. In an editorial landscape that moves faster and faster, often sacrificing depth for quantity, BrioMagazine chose the opposite path: stopping, listening, and telling stories with care. Twelve months of work that allowed us to carve out a small but solid space for those seeking music that doesn’t fit into mainstream channels. For those who believe that an artist deserves attention simply as an artist, without needing a Virgin Radio spin or a BBC slot.

The first anniversary issue features interviews and in-depth pieces on ten very different artists: Gan Eden, Mooth, Circle of Witches, Avernal, Neither, Vinnum Sabbathi, Unreveal, Black Hole, Kol Isha, and Thunder Speaks. Genres and sounds that couldn’t be more different, held together by the same thread that has guided BrioMagazine from the very first issue: telling stories about music with curiosity, no filters, and no regard for the charts.
