Magnus Rosén: the HammerFall bassist returns to shake the world

After touring the world with HammerFall, sharing the stage with giants like Tony Martin (Black Sabbath) and Janne Schaffer (ABBA), and leaving his mark on five albums with the Swedish band, Magnus Rosén has never stopped making his bass strings vibrate. His new solo project, “It’s Time To Rock The World Again”, is much more than just an album: it’s a manifesto, a statement of intent, an invitation to rediscover the pure pleasure of rock and heavy metal. And now, thanks to a new collaboration with Wanikiya Record/Promotion, that message is ready to cross every border.

The Swedish bassist, who made history in power metal with HammerFall from 1997 to 2007, has always had an insatiable hunger for music. After leaving the band to focus on his personal projects, Rosén continued to play, collaborate and experiment, working alongside artists such as Joe Lynn Turner, playing with Timo Tolkki’s Revolution Renaissance and joining bands like Shadowside and Avalanch. But “It’s Time To Rock The World Again” is his most personal battle cry.

The album is a journey through the sounds that shaped his life: hard rock, heavy metal, fusion and even some forays into more unexpected territories. The record, which took three years to complete, blends original tracks and covers that pay homage to the influences that marked Rosén’s career. The result is a sonic mosaic that reflects his musical vision, unafraid to dare and break the mould.

What makes the project even more special is the roster of exceptional guests who accepted the bassist’s invitation. Tony Martin, the historic voice of Black Sabbath, lends his unmistakable timbre to one of the tracks. Janne Schaffer, legendary guitarist also known for his work with ABBA, adds his refined touch. And Chitral Somapala (Firewind) completes a trio of artists that alone would make the album unmissable. But the real star remains Rosén’s bass, guiding every track with the power and confidence of someone who learned the craft on the world’s biggest stages.

Magnus Rosén’s entry into the Wanikiya Record/Promotion roster marks a new chapter for both. For the label, it confirms its ability to attract internationally renowned names. For Rosén, it’s an opportunity to bring his music to an even wider audience, with a promotional campaign that will embrace radio, press and media worldwide. Three official videos – “The Sign”, “Glitter and Blood” and “Terminator” – already preview the energy and variety of the album, confirming that the Swedish bassist hasn’t lost an ounce of his verve.

“It’s Time To Rock The World Again” is not just a title: it’s a promise. Coming from one of the most respected musicians on the international heavy metal scene, ready to remind everyone that rock, when played with heart, truly can shake the world. And with the support of Wanikiya Record/Promotion, that tremor will be felt far beyond the borders of Sweden.
